🎭 THEATRE DIRECTING WORKSHOP — EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

I'm considering running a theatre directing workshop/masterclass in the Devonport - Burnie area.

Would you be interested in attending?

👍 Yes, definitely!
❤️ Possibly — I'd like to know more.

The workshop would explore the practical craft of directing, from working with actors and interpreting scripts to staging scenes and developing a director's vision.

Don't miss out!

Saturday night's Page to Stage Final in Ulverstone isn't just an enjoyable night of theatre, it is also a competition. Sophocles got his first big break in a play writing contest - perhaps that will be the fate of one of the event's playwrights as well.

These two stern looking (but very wise) gentlemen are the night's judges - the Dramatic Society looks forward with a mixture of expectation and apprehension to their pronouncements on our two plays.

Where & when: Leven Theatre, Ulversone, Saturday 3rd October 7:30pm

Saturday Night is the Page to Stage final in Ulverstone and one of the 5 short plays being presented is The Thin Blue Line by Venetia Jane. The picture is from a recent rehearsal, but what could this nice looking couple have to do with the police? Perhaps the title relates to another of the play's characters, enigmatically named "The Buyer"... but of what? Come along to the Leven Theatre in Ulverstone at 7:30pm this Saturday, 3rd October, to find out.

Tickets from www.trybooking.com/DPLSC or at the door.
