π Wear It Purple Day 2026 π
Today, The Bridge stands alongside LGBTQIA+SB young people and communities across Australia.
This year's theme, Colours of Courage, celebrates the many ways people show courage every day. Whether it's living authentically, supporting others, speaking up or creating change, every act helps build a more inclusive future.
At The Bridge, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and valued for who they are. We're proud to support communities where people can be themselves, feel a sense of belonging and be celebrated for their individuality. πβ¨

π¦ Curiosity, learning and plenty of butterflies!
Participants from our Greensborough Hub enjoyed a wonderful day at Melbourne Zoo, taking part in a behind-the-scenes Butterfly Encounter where they prepared fruit bouquets, learned about butterfly care and explored each stage of the butterfly life cycle.
The day continued with a walk around the Zoo and lunch with a giraffe view. π¦ A fantastic day of learning, connection and community.

π§ Brain Injury Awareness Week | 17-23 August 2026
This week, we're helping raise awareness of acquired brain injury (ABI) and the impact it can have on individuals, families and communities.
Often described as an invisible disability, brain injury can affect people in many different ways, including memory, communication, wellbeing and participation in everyday life.
At The Bridge, we believe that greater understanding helps build more inclusive communities. π
Events are taking place across Australia throughout the week. To learn more or find an event near you, visit the Synapse website π
