Do you remember those two goofballs Jinx and Jazz? 🤣 We said goodbye to them almost a year ago when they made their big escape to Gippsland, and it looks like they're living their best lives! They're getting their nature on and we're stoked to see them chillin' and soaking up the sun! We're pretty sure they're missing us just as much as we're missing them... or maybe they're just missing our snacks.....

As pets grow older, they experience natural physical changes, including reduced muscle mass, decreased joint flexibility, and a higher risk of developing arthritis. Colder weather can make these age-related issues worse, causing discomfort and making pets less willing to stay active. Reduced movement can then lead to increased joint stiffness and further limit mobility.

Senior pets also tend to have less body fat and are less efficient at regulating their body temperature, making them more susceptible to feeling cold and uncomfortable, even inside the home.

The good news? Early recognition and veterinary support can help improve your dog's quality of life. Nutrition, environmental enrichment, routine, and appropriate medical management may all play a role in keeping senior dogs comfortable and engaged.
