HUGE NEWS COCKIES!!

As we are about to officially kick off pre-season tomorrow morning, we are extremely excited and happy to announce a new signing for season 2026/27!

We are very pleased to bring you the news that Tom Scriven will be back at the Cockies for the new year, fresh off a season of Division One County Cricket for Leicestershire!

Scriv was last with us for season 2024/25 and had an immediate impact! He finished the season with 306 runs at 27.82, 23 wickets at 15.61 and a Critchley Medal around his neck.

Great to have you back again Scriv and we cannot wait to have you out on the field for the Cockies again!

Very pleased to announce that Gunjan Patel will be returning for season 2026/27!

Gunjan spent time in both our 3rd and 4th XI's last season, with his medium pace used as a very effective weapon for those batsmen that always want to get a move on!

Great to have you back Gunjan and we look forward to what you get up to this new season

Very, very pleased to announce that Tom Murphy is back for season 2026/27!

Murpha lead out 4th XI last season in amazingly positive style. Often undermanned in terms of experience, Murph ensured our Cockies of the future were out on the park, giving their all and taking on important roles in the side each week!

Great to have you back Murph and we look forward to another season with the Cockies!

Very happy to announce life member Nick Sanderson is back for season 2026/27!

The Sand Man spent time in the 3s and 4s last season, taking on a leadership role each game he played, helping to guide our younger Cockies through the lower grades. Sando also topped the run scoring in our 4th XI!

Great to have you back Sand Man and looking forward to another great year from you!

We at Croydon CC are very pleased to announce that Liam Street has re-signed for season 2026/27!

Liam plied his trade last season in our 4th XI, opening the batting on most occasions and showing sheer guts and determination each time he took to the crease. Liams efforts saw him score the 2nd most amount of runs for the 4s last season too!

Great to have you back Liam and we cannot wait for even more runs this season!

Great news to announce that Jeremy Bell will be back in season 2026/27!

Jez split his time between our 4th XI and representing his school on Saturdays. When he was with us, he was a valuable contributor behind the stumps and with a stick in his band too. Jez will again be available for us when school cricket is not on this year!

Great to have you back and Jez and cannot wait to see what you can do for us!

Super excited to announce that Ryder Hassan will be back for the Cockies in season 2026/27!

Ryder played four games for our 4th XI after Christmas and showed us his talent at the bowling crease, finishing the season with 5 wickets at a very tidy 19 each!

Great to have you back Ryder and we look forward to more cricket with the Seniors in the new season!

Very pleased to announce that Nikku Singh will be back again for season 2026/27!

Unfortunately for Nikku, injury dictated the amount of cricket he played for the Cockies, limiting him to just 4 appearances. But hes back again this season and ready to give his all!

Very happy to bring you the news that Deepan Santosh Kumar will be back again in season 2026/27!

Deepan spent his first season with us in the 4th XI, where he was able to contibute with both bat and ball, showing talent each time he took to the field!

Very excited to announce a new player to the Cockies for season 2026/27! Aswin Sabapthi has signed with Croydon CC for season 2026/27!

Aswin joins us after recently migrating to Australia from India. In India, he played both Junior and Senior cricket within the Karnataka State Cricket Association in Bangalore!

A young right arm fast bowler and middle order batsmen, we are very excited to have Aswin join us for this season and beyond!
