Lace up and see the Valley from a different angle. π₯Ύ
The Clare Valley is best known for its food and w**e, but itβs also a brilliant place to walk. The Clare Valley Short Walks are six signposted walks, from easy one-hour strolls to four-hour hikes, taking in heritage towns, native bushland and vineyard-covered hills.
Each one follows part of a well-loved trail: the Heysen, the Lavender Federation and the Riesling Trail, plus Spring Gully Conservation Park. They suit everyone from young families to seasoned walkers, and many pass a cellar door or cafΓ© along the way, so you can reward yourself at the finish. π·β

Meet the makers: Dave and Sophie Whitehead of πΈ
At Sawmill Gin, a tasting is never just a pour. Dave talks you through how the gin is made, and how a change of botanical or mixer shifts what you're tasting. By the end of your flight, you'll know a lot more about gin than when you walked in.
Sophie brings the food side to it. She's a chef who came out from England, and among the kitchens behind her is a stint cooking for the Queen Mother. She's modest about it, but the stories are well worth asking for.
"A tasting with Dave is never just a tasting; it's an experience." Alison 'Chook' Meaney, Bukirk Glamping & Luxury Cabins
