🌸 Cervical cancer often develops without obvious symptoms.
A simple cervical screening test can help detect abnormalities early and reduce the risk of cervical cancer.
If you're aged 25 to 74, regular cervical screening is recommended as part of the National Cervical Screening Program. For most eligible people, the test is only needed every 5 years.
Looking for extra protection? SIA Medical also offers private Gardasil® 9 (HPV) vaccination. The HPV vaccine helps protect against the types of HPV that cause most cervical cancers, but it does not replace the need for regular cervical screening.
Our GPs can:
✔ Discuss cervical screening
✔ Answer your questions
✔ Assess whether HPV vaccination is appropriate for you

💡 Managing a health condition that's lasted 6 months or more? You might be suffering from a chronic condition.
Your GP may recommend a GP Care Plan, depending on your health needs. This can help eligible patients* access Medicare rebates for selected allied health services to support the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chronic pain, and other ongoing health conditions.
A GP Care Plan may include referrals to eligible allied health professionals such as:
✅ Physiotherapists ✅ Podiatrists ✅ Psychologists ✅ Dietitians ✅ Exercise Physiologists ✅ Speech Pathologists (kids) ✅ Chiropractors ✅ Osteopaths ✅ Hand Therapists
There is no age requirement for a GP Care Plan. If appropriate, children and adults with eligible long-term health conditions may both be able to access Medicare-rebated allied health services.
👉 Speak to your GP about whether a GP Care Plan is appropriate for you. Book now at 🌐 www.siamedical.com.au
*Eligibility is determined by your GP. Medicare rebate eligibility and available allied health services vary depending on your individual circumstances and clinic.

💻 Long hours of sitting, poor posture, and limited movement throughout the day can place extra strain on your neck, shoulders, and lower back—often leading to stiffness, muscle tension, headaches, and ongoing discomfort.
Simple adjustments like improving your workstation setup, taking movement breaks, and stretching regularly may help reduce posture-related strain.
Physiotherapy can also help assess posture, mobility, muscle tension, and movement-related pain to support better day-to-day function.
