Promenading last night in Cap d’Agde (it’s the done thing), a fishing contest on our doorstep today and Sete sights the other day. It’s simply lovely

We finally made it to some sort of beachside holiday- Cap d’Agde on the Med instead of burnt out Arcachon. I am gobsmacked at how many yachts and boats go past our courtyard.
Note to self - never travel first or last weekend in August

The air quality is really bad and irritates your eyes. A tiny bit of rain overnight has cleared it up a bit (for now). Vide-grenier at Lherm - a quirky little village nearby.

Despite not being ‘roundball’ fans (nor any other sort), we seemed to get caught up in its wake and enjoyed it. Found a lovely vide grenier village (monfalquier) and will come back for lunch one day
