The competition at Calder Park Roll Racing has really stepped up over the last year and winning championship rounds has become all that more difficult with multiple 1000-1500+ hp cars now in regular attendance.

Congratulations to Tawfeeq for taking out Round 2 of the Summit Roll Racing Championship over the weekend. With 6 elimination races and up against some fast Euro, JDM and Aussie muscle Gforce_ttrs came up on top and took the trophy this month.

A new 1/4 trap speed PB was also set by him clocking 158mph + on multiple runs. We continue to be impressed by the car we built for him 3+ years ago and its fair to say its no dyno or garage queen, as he is out there racing every event and sending it for the culture. Goes to show a properly built car on this platform can stand the test of time and be competitive with the heavy hitters.

Yes we don't just work on Audi RS cars, today we had Sam's BMW X4M in with a throttle body fault code causing it to enter limp mode. Upon inspection, we found a fin from an aftermarket charge cooler manifold had broken off and jammed the throttle body. We removed and replaced the existing charge cooler and tested the throttle body to make sure everything was functioning appropriately.

This particular X4M is not just looks. Supported by the highly tuneable S58 motor, it came to us with Stage 2 boltons already, running 10 sec 1/4 miles. That is impressive for a 2+ tonne SUV. Can we make this faster? We sure can, watch this space 😈.
