Box Hill Art Group - catering for all levels from those that have never painted or drawn before through to those that have been painting for a long time.
The Box Hill Art Group is a community painting and drawing group open to anyone over 16. It began in 1952 making it one of the oldest such groups in suburban Melbourne . The Box Hill Art Group meets at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre, 470 Station Street , Box Hill. The Box Hill Art Group receives support from Whitehorse City Council; however, it is not operated by Council or the Box Hill Community Arts Centre. Some advertising for our classes here first.
There are a couple of spots still available in our Wednesday evening class so have a look and join Natalie to learn "negative space" painting. So far student are having lots of fun while creating beautiful works.
We also have some spots in our new oil class on Thursday evening with new tutor, new techniques, new ideas!

Our End of Year Exhibition is on from 16th to 22nd of November at Box Hill Community Art Centre Gallery.
$1,700 in prizes to be won.
Entries are open to all current financial members of the group and close 1st November 2026. No entry fees. Each member may enter up to 3 paintings.
