The South Australian government has released details on its Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) including the list of eligible skilled occupations. This is very exciting news for SA employers and skilled migrants.
Applications for SA DAMA will commence from 1 July 2019. There will be given priority processing with the Department of Home Affairs as well as various concessions such as the age requirement, temporary skilled migration income threshold, skills and experience and the level of English language requirement. The SA DAMA also offers a pathway to permanent residency.

PARTNER VISA CHANGES PUT ON HOLD - We have been notified by the Department of Home Affairs that the new sponsorship framework for the partner scheduled to commence on 17 April 2019 visa has been put on hold. The new changes to the sponsored family visas will only be implemented for the new sponsored parent (temporary) 870 visa at this stage. We will keep you posted about the time-frame for the expansion of the new sponsorship framework to the partner visa when announced!
