Although we’re in the middle of the school holidays, there’s lots going on at Rollerway.

Apart from being open every single day of the winter school holidays, 10am-4:30pm (until 12 July) and the usual evening sessions on Friday & Saturday nights…

ADULTS ONLY SKATE NIGHT – Sat 4th of July – 8:30-10:30pm, after the “for all” 6:30-8:30 slot. The music is a little different, less games, and…no kids! 🕺💃

LEARN TO SKATE LESSONS – every Saturday 4:45-5:30pm, just $17 with free skate hire. 🛼

WILD WILD WEST WEEKEND – 3- 5 July (Fri-Sun) day and night sessions, dress up for your chance to win extra prizes! 🤠

TRY HOCKEY FREE – we can cater to all skill levels, from absolute beginners through to Australia’s best! Call us or call in for more info, Monday to Thursday evening leagues playing (9 leagues and 43 teams!) For primary aged kids, their leagues return after the school holidays. REMINDERS
• To all new players, please make sure you are in your team’s chat
• Remember to confirm your team colours, and check the fixture in advance, rather than the last minute
• Term fee discounts or AfterPay are only available first week
• If you are unable to play, please give your team as much notice as possible – forfeits carry extra penalties
• Don’t hesitate to use your team chats to help motivate your team, or to ask any questions, at all

WITH SOME REGRET, MAYHEM TOURNAMENTS WILL GO ON HIATUS.

After much consideration, and recognising how we have so many people attending tournaments like the Viking & Bendigo Cups, ACC, and the Winter Classic, or Nationals, given our staffing and time management challenges (after 14 years) it has been decided to make our various Mayhem Tournaments biennial events. The Div 1, 2, and Junior Mayhems, will be back in 2027. Sorry folks, but with 43 teams and 9 leagues to balance, and the plethora of day-to-day activities, it was felt that we needed to focus our energies as effectively as possible. Don't worry, Mayhem will be back!

A reminder that all Winter Season fixtures will be published over the next few days.

And so, another Summer Season ends, with the Winter Season starting Monday, 20 April. Congratulations to all for the hard work and persistence, and for the tremendous effort and good sportsmanship shown, in what is obviously a very fast and vigorous game!

As you all now, we have 9 leagues, and for the Winter Season, we will have 43 teams. Quite a few player movements, team and preference balancing, and lots of fixtures to finalise. Please bear with us, as we do our best to sort all those things out! We hope that the Monday League fixtures will be published by next Wednesday, with the remaining leagues to follow shortly.

What a great Easter it was for many of our hockey players!

Over 30 of our local players travelled to Moe for the Australian Club Championships (ACC) over Easter, competing across all 6 divisions. Our Geelong players, scattered across many teams (both Geelong, Melbourne, and independent teams) made finals in 5 of those 6 divisions, and some managed to earn gold in Div 1, Women's and Pro Divisions, and a silver in Div 3. We also had players take out a selection of awards in the Top Goalie, Grand Final MVP, and Top Point Scorer classes in 5 divisions.

Congratulations to everyone, a big thank-you to all players, supporters and volunteers, and the organisers of ACC ’26!

Happy Easter everyone! Time to recap the Summer 2025-2026 season. As we do so, many of our players are in Moe, for the Australian Club Championships – best of luck to everyone.
