Making the best of a natural hollow we've left the curving edge where the tree began to repair and removed the damaged area inside to enable placement of the porcelain figure inside. The result is a very natural looking tree hollow.

Red Box, it's one of our most beautiful and veratile of Australian timbers, Very dense and when natually dried over a long term can be finished to a high polish displaying a magnificent depth of colour and grain figure. Interestingly the longer a piece lies on the forest floor the richer the internal colour and harder it becomes.
It is one of my preferred timbers for our Enchanted Wood houses.

Good old Aussie Magpie showing off in a native Bloodwood 'town house' with a classic cottage door featuring a cutout window. The maggie is made of porcelain and looks great.

For trout fishing enthusiasts - we've introduced a new range of coasters with a fly lure embeded in resin.
The typical diameter is 100-120mm.
Sanded and polished to a smooth and silky finish.

Playing around with a few new ideas.
A draw bridge design popped into my imagination.
The one shown here is about 150mm tall made with Bloodwood - a Eucalypt sub species.
Just to demonstrate I 3D printed up a version of Shrek to act as the inhabitant.
I think young Shrek might become an addition to our range.

This classy porcelain Kookaburra is housed in a beautifully figured piece of Oak and will debut this weekend at Big Dreams market in Belgrave. Eventhough the weather will be cool there's plenty there to warm your soul.

Next up this little porcelain King Parrot inside a lovely piece of Bloodwood (a variety of the eucalypt family) with rich red tones and well defined end grain patterning.
It will be out on display this weekend at Lost Woods market in Emerald and if still available at Big Dreams market in Belgrave on Sunday.
