✨ Choosing a Gratitude Mindset✨

What if we changed “I have to” into “I get to”?

This simple shift in language can help children and adults focus on the positives in everyday life and appreciate the opportunities we often take for granted. 💛

This week, try The Resilience Project’s family challenge: replace “I have to” with “I get to” and notice how it changes your perspective.

🌟 I get to learn.
🌟 I get to help my family.
🌟 I get to spend time with friends.

What’s something you get to do today?

📚 Every Day Matters!

Did you know that missing just 1 day a fortnight adds up to around 20 days of learning lost each year?✏️

Regular attendance helps students build confidence, strengthen friendships, achieve their best and develop positive habits for life.

💙 Be here. Be you. Belong.

🏉 Congratulations to our Senior Girls team on their outstanding efforts at the Paul Kelly Cup Competition today!
The girls represented St Patrick’s with determination, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another, competed with enthusiasm and demonstrated our school values both on and off the field.
Well done, girls! 💙💛

Ms O’Neil and the senior girls team about to embark for Bateman’s Bay and the Paul Kelly Cup AFL competition today. Good luck girls!

🔬🧪 Science in action today in Year 3/4! Students explored scientific concepts through hands-on investigations, asking thoughtful questions, making predictions, and sharing their discoveries. We love seeing curiosity come to life in the classroom!

💙 A belated Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and special father figures in our community. Thank you to all the families who joined us for breakfast and Mass on Friday. It was wonderful to celebrate with you and acknowledge the important role you play in the lives of our students and families.

We look forward to welcoming dads, grandads and special father figures to our Father’s Day Breakfast tomorrow in the hall from 8:00am.
🎁 Students will also have the opportunity to visit our Father’s Day Stall and purchase a special gift.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

📚🎤 Congratulations to Our Public Speaking Representatives!🎤📚

Yesterday, two of our talented St Patrick’s students travelled to Goulburn to represent our school in the Public Speaking Competition.

We are incredibly proud of their courage, preparation, and confidence in presenting before an audience. Public speaking requires dedication, resilience, and the willingness to step outside your comfort zone, and both students demonstrated these qualities beautifully.

Regardless of the results, they represented St Patrick’s with pride, excellence, and confidence, and we congratulate them on this wonderful achievement.

A special thank you to our families and staff who supported them on their journey.

Well done! We are so proud of you both. 🌟👏
