It was pretty wet but there were still some locals of various types enjoying the action at this morning’s October Flying Four.
In the Women’s Division it was Kristina Kersten ahead of Lynda Bateson while Will Law led home ahead of Ken Hastie and Craig Preston in the Men’s.
Bottles of w**e went to Peter Kersten and Ken Hastie.
Next race is 8am on Sunday 8th November with end of year Trophy Presentations at the December 13th event starting at the summer time of 7.30am.

Folks,
The Queensland Mountain Running Championships are being held at Mt Glorious on Sunday 8th November with Open over 22k and U20 Championships over the 11k distance.
Buses will ferry runners to the start from Samford Soccer Club.
These are very tough events with steep climbs and descents so you will need to have done a fair bit of training over tough technical Trail terrain in the lead-up.
Full details are available at the Queensland Athletics and TRAQ websites.

A big day at the annual GPS Athletics Carnival today at QE2 with many club athletes pitching in with whole-hearted efforts for their school teams in both individual and relay events in an exciting atmosphere that brought out quite a number of PBs.
Surprisingly the weather cleared and held after early showers and Ipswich Grammar were very strong winning both the Junior and Senior competitions.
Thanks to all of the schools involved along with the parents, athletes, coaches and officials whose combined efforts contributed to a successful meet.
Results for our athletes are attached.
