ARCH’S!!!!

The ARCH shape is everywhere at the moment and we thought this one of a kind arch-top mirror finished with a custom colour of gold leaf we created in the workshop has come up just so beautifully!

With warm tones of gold and bronze and a petite size of 60cm x 70cm in size, it is the perfect piece for above an entry buffet, in a powder room or even in an ensuite…..the options are limitless to be honest!

We recently had our beautiful customer come into the shop to have her very special late 1800’s portrait re-fitted into its own antique frame……No problems, of course!

Little did she realise there were 2 MORE PORTRAITS hidden behind this gorgeous portrait…..revealing even more family history and a bit of a jigsaw to work out which relative was which?! 😂

We were so pleased to be able to offer these 2 STUNNING antique looking frames that we had available in the shop that fitted so perfectly with these late 1800’s and we’re guessing early to mid 1900’s portraits.

We even had a dark frame for the male portrait and a more feminine coloured oval for the lady portrait. 🤗

These gorgeous curved corner frames come with handmade convex glass, which fit the shape and convex of the portraits themselves. It’s like they were made for each other!

To say the customer was ecstatic about not only the discovery of the hidden portraits but the PERFECTLY paired one of a kind frames is an understatement!

We really do love what we do so much and the joy it gives to our special customers really is what it’s all about 🥰

CUSTOM MADE Archtop Mantel Mirror!

Specific outside size requirements met to suit the customers request with the perfect width and height to suit her very own mantel.

This particular mirror has a beautifully fresh clean finish all around with the request of no further ornate detail……and it has been made to perfection 👌🏻

(Note this mirror can be made with feet on the bottom sides and ornate feature at the top if preferred)

Our gold leaf custom made mirrors are made by US, Australian (Victorian!) based family business since 1953…..your requests are in very good hands!

Our customer really struggled to find a ROUND frame that was deep enough to fit all of these beautiful items.

After many phone calls and hunting around, SHE FOUND US!

Here, we custom made this stunning solid timber round frame, coloured and hand painted it to our customers preference and fitting the canvas piece that had been put together by the customer perfectly!
