Our staff recently completed their annual First Aid and CPR training, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency. Regular training helps us maintain a safe environment for our clients, visitors, and team members.

Attending expos is always a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and stay informed about the latest developments in our industry. Last week, Katie and Tanya had the pleasure of attending the Aged and Carers expo in Murray Bridge, where they met with local service providers, industry professionals, and community members.
It was a valuable day filled with meaningful conversations, networking opportunities, and insights into innovative services and supports available across the region. Events like these help us strengthen relationships, share knowledge, and continue improving the support we provide to our clients and partners.
A big thank you to the organisers and everyone who took the time to chat with us. We look forward to building on the connections made and continuing to work collaboratively within our community.

๐ Annual Staff Development Get-Together ๐
Over the past two days, our entire team of 19 came together for our annual personal and professional development gathering.
It was a valuable opportunity to share updates, learn from one another, hear inspiring talks, and reflect on our goals for the year ahead. Just as importantly, it gave us time to connect, strengthen relationships, and enjoy each other's company away from our day-to-day routines.
We're grateful for the chance to learn, grow, and celebrate being part of such a supportive and dedicated team. Here's to another year of working together and continuing to develop both professionally and personally! ๐

๐ Staff Manual Handling Day Success! ๐
What a fantastic day bringing our team together for our Manual Handling session!
With Miranda, one of our Senior OT's leading the way, the team had the chance to refresh their skills, build confidence, and learn practical techniques, all while keeping things engaging and fun. It was great to see everyone getting involved, supporting each other, and sharing a few laughs along the way.
After a productive session, we wrapped up the day with a team lunch ๐ด followed by some fun games; because teamwork is just as important outside the training room! ๐
Hereโs to staying safe, strong, and connected as a team! ๐

Lest We Forget
Today on ANZAC Day, we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the men and women who have served our country โ past and present.
At Abilities OT, we also reflect on the lasting impact of service and the importance of compassion, understanding and support for individuals, families, and communities. We acknowledge the strength found not only on the front lines, but in recovery, care, and connection.
We thank all who have served, and we hold in our thoughts those who continue to be affected by the legacy of war.
๐บ Lest we forget. ๐บ
