Albany Farmers Market Western Australia
Real Farmers of the Great Southern selling their produce direct to you for over 20 years.
Every Saturday the Albany Farmers Market brings together real farmers from the Great Southern to sell local fresh produce that they have grown, made or reared. Here you can shop for all your fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy, meats and more for the whole week and be assured that it has all been grown locally by the person who sells it to you.

After two decades of serving jams, chutneys and sauces lovingly made out of a building on their Lowlands farm, a well-known couple are waving goodbye to their weekly Albany Farmers Markets stall.

This weekend will be the last for our much loved preserve stall Summerhouse Supplies.
The last of our original stallholders from our first Albany Farmers Market in 2002. Heather Marr and Malcolm Traill have been stallholders for collectively, 20 years.
Initially, a jam stall they expanded their range over the years to include curds, pickles, sauces, delicious baked goods and a selection of potted plants. They are often joined by their friend Sally Thomas, her dog Buttercup and their own Border Collie - Jay.
Be sure to pop down to the market this Saturday to wish them well, in what is bound to be a very busy retirement. Now to enjoy Saturdays at our market as marketgoers.
There is a lovely piece on them in today’s written by Melissa Shiel, if you can get your hands on a copy (Thursday, May 28).
