NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee.
Celebrated annually in the first week of July, it is a nationwide event that recognises and celebrates the history, rich cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Kindergarten this week joined in the celebrations by engaging in some indigenous experiences with a variety of different Aboriginal symbols.
