Today at the Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs Expo, we asked visitors one question:
Whatâs one thing you wish was easier?
At home. At work. At school. Or simply in everyday life.
People added their answers to our wall, and now weâd love to open the conversation to you. It might be something you wish were easier for yourself, your family, or your dog.
What would you write on a sticky note?
Tell us in the comments. A few words are plenty, and youâre welcome to share only what feels comfortable.
Weâre listening. đ

Do you have first-day Puppy School nerves?
I hear you.
Maybe youâre a first-time puppy owner and youâre wondering whether youâre doing everything right.
Perhaps youâve had a dog in the past whose behaviour caused some concerns, and youâre determined not to travel that same path again.
Or maybe youâre simply hoping for something better than your previous Puppy School experience.
Whatever the reason, those nerves are perfectly valid. Theyâre also completely normal.
Most importantly, you will not be judged if your puppy is noisy, worried, distracted, bouncy or struggling to settle. Puppy School is exactly where these things are allowed to happenâbecause it gives our trainers the opportunity to see what youâre experiencing and guide you through what to do next.
So please donât fear that first class.
Donât worry that everyone will look at you and think, *âTheyâve got that puppy.â*
Your puppy isnât expected to arrive knowing how to behave in a new environmentâand neither are you expected to have all the answers. Puppies donât arrive as blank slates, and owners bring their own experiences, concerns and hopes with them too.
At Canine Interaction, our trainers understand this.
Whatever comes through our door, weâll meet you and your puppy where you are and help you move forward together.
Youâre not in the wrong place.
Youâre exactly where you need to be. đđ

You may be asking the wrong question.
When people begin thinking about an assistance dog, the first question is often:
âShould I get a dog?â
But that question begins with the dog.
At Canine Interaction, we begin with the person.
What feels difficult right now?
What would you like to be able to do more confidently?
What kind of support could make everyday life easier?
Only then can we explore the more meaningful question:
âWhat job would I need the dog to do?â
Come and begin the conversation with us at the Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs Expo.

What does thoughtful assistance dog training make possible?
This week, Jamesâone of Meganâs trainersâand his assistance dog in training, Ember, visited the Royal Adelaide Show.
For Ember, it was an enormous environment to take in: crowds, rides, unfamiliar noises, excited children, screaming, prams and activity in every direction.
She also encountered something especially importantâother animals.
As you can see from the photo, Ember remained beautifully settled and unfazed, even when other dogs in the pavilion barked at her.
Ember is a wonderful ambassador for assistance dogs in training and an incredible support for James. But her progress is also a testament to the time, energy, patience and understanding James continues to invest in her training.
Now, weâre certainly not suggesting everyone should take their dog to the Royal Adelaide Show! An environment like this requires considerable preparation, and it needs to be appropriate for the individual dog.
But James and Ember are a beautiful example of what can become possible when the right dog is partnered with thoughtful, consistent trainingâand what that partnership can give back to a personâs life.
Well done, James and Ember. What a team. đ
