TAFE Queensland

Persistence, determination and a willingness to back yourself can take you a long way, and Hayley Campbell is proof of that.

As an MRAEL apprentice, Hayley has worked hard to build a career in a traditionally male-dominated industry, overcoming challenges and continuing to push forward with confidence. Her recent recognition as the Breaking Barriers Apprentice of the Year at the TAFE CSQ Apprentice Awards reflects the commitment, resilience and passion she brings to her apprenticeship every day.

It was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with Hayley and recognise just how far she has come throughout her apprenticeship journey. Her success highlights the opportunities available to women in trades and the impact of backing yourself, pursuing your goals and staying focused on where you want to go.

Congratulations, Hayley. It’s been fantastic to be part of your journey, and we can’t wait to see where it takes you next. 👏
