So far in 2026, the Lion has proudly claimed the title of my third best-selling keepsake. 🦁❤️

Each one is handmade from treasured clothing, transforming much-loved memories into a keepsake that can be hugged and displayed for years to come. I love creating these majestic lions, and every one is completely unique depending on the special garments they're made from.

One of the things I love most about creating keepsakes is experimenting with new ideas.

There are so many dog patterns available, but some can be quite large and lose that cute, cuddly feel. So, I decided to combine two different patterns to create my own design...

And I have to say, I absolutely love how this little sitting dog turned out! 🐶❤️

This special keepsake is for a wonderful friend who is beginning an exciting new chapter as she moves back to the UK. She'll be so missed, and our morning exercise classes certainly won't be the same without her.

After a very busy first half of the year, we're taking a well-earned summer break to enjoy some precious time with family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Freddies Teddies Keepsakes this year. It has been an incredible few months, and I truly appreciate every order, message, recommendation and kind word.

I always get a little nervous when I'm asked to make a keepsake from just one item of clothing. Sometimes a single garment can lose its character once it's transformed.
Thankfully, that wasn't the case with this little bear. 🧸

I carefully planned every pattern piece to include as many of the special details as possible—the school logo, the UAE flag, the school name and even the graduation years. Not every emblem could fit, but I always do my very best to preserve the details that mean the most.

It's those little touches that turn a simple school polo into a keepsake full of memories. ❤️

I absolutely love it when a customer comes to me with an idea that's completely different. Something I've never made before, something that pushes me to be creative and figure out how to bring their vision to life.

This little hedgehog is one of those keepsakes.

Made from the hospital gown of one incredibly brave little boy, it marks one year since his life-changing surgery. What was once a reminder of a difficult chapter has been transformed into a keepsake that celebrates just how far he has come.

It was such a privilege to create something so personal and meaningful. Here's to courage, resilience, and celebrating every milestone—big and small. ❤️🦔

Living in Dubai, many families are lucky enough to have helpers who become so much more than that—they become family. ❤️

This lion was created from a selection of special clothing belonging to both the family and their much-loved helper, bringing their memories together in one keepsake.

Although life has taken them to different parts of the world, they'll always be connected, with a little piece of each other to hold close. 🦁

Making keepsakes from sports tops can be a little more challenging because of all the small details. There is usually more than one logo, slogan, or design element that has meaning, and you want to include as many of them as possible. Those details are what make the keepsake special. This is my second camel made for the same sports team, but it was created from a different garment. I took extra care to incorporate as many of the important details as I could, so the finished piece would capture the character and memories associated with the original item.

Next Tuesday, 16th June, is the last Teddy Bear Hospital before the summer break! 🧸❤️
