على مدى الأشهر القليلة الماضية، تكاتف مجتمعنا من أجل توفير فرص هادفة للتواصل والإبداع والانتماء بفندق فيرمونت باب البحر.

من حفلة الإفطار العائلية السنوية خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، إلى جلسات حلقة المبدعين العائلية التي تحتفل بعام الأسرة الإماراتية، والحفل الختامي مع حلول عطلة الصيف الذي تضمن باقةً متنوعةً من البرامج، فقد كانن كل فعالية فرصة للمشاركين والعائلات والمتطوعين للتعلم والإبداع والنمو معاً.

ولا يفوتنا أن نعرب عن خالص تقديرنا لفندق فيرمونت باب البحر على استضافته الكريمة لهذه الفعاليات ولشراكتهم المستمرة في دعم مسيرة الدمج وتوفير مساحات مفتوحة لعائلات أصحاب الهمم. لقد ساعد كرم ضيافتكم والتزامكم في جعل كل حدثٍ تجربة لا تنسى لمجتمعنا.

معاً، سنواصل جهودنا نحو بناء مجتمعٍ دامجٍ ومستدامٍ بلا حواجز.

Over the past few months, our community has come together to create meaningful moments of connection, creativity, and belonging at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr.

From our annual Family Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan, to the Family Creators Circle sessions celebrating the UAE Year of Family, and our Summer Wrap Up event reflecting on another impactful season of programs, each gathering has been an opportunity for participants, families and volunteers to learn, create, and grow together.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Fairmont Bab Al Bahr for graciously hosting these events and for their continued partnership in supporting inclusion and creating welcoming spaces for families of Determination. Your hospitality and commitment have helped make each event a memorable experience for our community.

Together, we continue building a barrier-free, inclusive and sustainable society.

هيَّا نحتفلْ بنهاية موسم سدرة الناجح في فندق كونراد أبوظبي أبراج الاتحاد!

ندعو الشباب أصحاب الهمم، برفقة اثنين من أفراد عائلاتهم كحدٍ أقصى، للانضمام إلى حفلة الديسكو الصامتة ذات الطابع السينمائي. سنستمتع بصحبة بعضنا البعض، ونرقص على أنغام الموسيقى باستخدام سماعات الرأس، ونتناول أشهى المأكولات، ونقضي أوقاتًا ممتعة في استقبال عطلة الصيف.

👥 لمن هذا الحدث: لأعضاء سدرة المسجلين من عمر 10 سنوات فما فوق، بالإضافة إلى اثنين من أفراد العائلة المرافقين.

Let's celebrate the end of a successful SEDRA season at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers!

We invite Youth of Determination and up to 2 family members to join the festive cinema-themed silent disco. We will enjoy each other's company, groove to tunes using headphones and have great food and lots of fun welcoming the summer break.

مع اقتراب العطلات الصيفية، تدعو مؤسسة سدرة عائلات أصحاب الهمم لحضور جلسة ختامية تفاعلية للموسم.

ستتبادل العائلات آراءها وملاحظاتها وتجاربها وتأثيرها. إذْ تتيح هذه الجلسة المهمة فرصة لتخطيطٍ أفضل مع تقييمٍ لاحتياجات الموسم القادم. سيحصل جميع المشاركين على كتيب صيفي مميز مليء بأنشطة عائلية ممتعة لتعزيز التعلم، وترسيخ المعلومات، وعيش لحظات ماتعة لا تُنسى.

👥 الفئة المستهدفة: عائلات ومقدمي الرعاية والأفراد المهتمين بدعم أصحاب الهمم والمسجلين على أن الحد الأقصى للمشاركة ثلاثة أفراد من طرف كل عائلة.

As summer break approaches, SEDRA invites families of Determination for an interactive season wrap up.

Families will share feedback, reflections, and impact. This important session will allow for better planning and needs assessments for next season. All participants will receive a special summer workbook packet filled with fun family activities for extending learning, retention, and memorable moments.

👥 Who is this for: SEDRA registered families, caregivers and self-advocates. Up to 3 members per family.

COSP 19 | June 9 – 11

The 19th Conference of States Parties (COSP19) provides an opportunity to tack progress, reflect on challenges, and share best practices as the global collective reaffirms its commitment to co-create equitable and accessible integrated systems where everyone is able to participate and contribute, by and for persons with disabilities worldwide.

This year marks an important milestone: 20 years since the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

SEDRA Foundation is honored to be part of the UAE official delegation attending the COSP19 and joining conversations that are shaping the future of disability inclusion on a global scale.

Stay tuned as we share key learnings, insights, and reflections from the conference.

مؤتمر الدول الأطراف التاسع عشر (9-11 يونيو 2026)

يوفر مؤتمر الدول الأطراف التاسع عشر (COSP19) فرصةً لاستعراض التقدم المحرز، والتأمل في التحديات، وتبادل أفضل الممارسات، حيث يؤكد المجتمع العالمي مجددًا التزامه بالمشاركة في بناء أنظمةٍ متكاملةٍ عادلةٍ وميسرة الوصول للجميع، بحيث يتمكن الكل من المشاركة والإسهام، لصالح الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة في جميع أنحاء العالم.

ويُعتبر مؤتمر هذا العام علامةً فارقةً هامة إِذْ يتزامن مع مرور عشرين عامًا على اعتماد اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

تتشرف مؤسسة سدرة بالانضمام إلى وفد الإمارات المنتدب لحضور مؤتمر الدول الأطراف التاسع عشر والمشاركة في الحوارات التي تُشكّل مستقبل دمج الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة على الصعيد العالمي.

انضموا إلينا في ملتقى الأيادي الصانعة ، وهي مبادرة مجتمعية تطوعية دامجة تهدف إلى جمع الناس للتواصل والإبداع والمساهمة.

سيقوم المتطوعون بصنع أساور مستوحاة من تراث وثقافة الإمارات دعمًا لحلقة المُبدعين التابعة لسدرة.

هذه الجلسات تناسب أي فرد من أفراد المجتمع لديه اهتمام بالخدمة المجتمعية، وبناء العلاقات الاجتماعية، والمشاركة الفعّالة والدامجة.

Join us for Makers Meet Up, an inclusive volunteer community initiative designed to bring people together to connect, create, and contribute.

Volunteers will be making UAE themed bracelets in support of SEDRA’s Creators Circle.

These sessions are ideal for any community member interested in community service, building social connections, and intentional inclusive engagements.
